Terms of service

Last updated: 2026-05-13

1. License to use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform for personal MCAT preparation. You may not resell access, scrape or republish generated questions, or use the platform’s output to train another model.

2. AAMC disclaimer

“MCAT” is used on this platform as a descriptive reference to the exam. This platform is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the AAMC (Association of American Medical Colleges). All practice questions are generated by large-language models constrained to produce original content. Concept tags reference the public "What’s on the MCAT Exam?" outline as a factual taxonomy; no copyrighted AAMC sample questions or passages are stored, reproduced, or distributed by this platform.

3. Uploaded materials

You may upload your own notes for adaptive context. By uploading you warrant that:

  • You own the material or have the right to use it.
  • The content does not include AAMC sample questions, UWorld, Kaplan, Princeton Review, ExamKrackers, or any other copyrighted commercial prep material.
  • You will not upload content that violates a third party’s rights.

We may remove or refuse to process uploads that appear to violate these warranties. Our generated questions remain original output of the underlying model, structurally constrained by our prompts — your notes inform topic selection, not verbatim content.

4. No training default

By default, the platform’s code does not use your prompts, answers, or uploads to train any model. A future opt-in toggle is exposed in Settings, but its current state is not consulted by the generation pipeline. Any future change will be announced ahead of time in the privacy policy.

5. Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) responsibility

If you choose BYOK mode, you provide your own API key for a model provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, xAI, Google). Charges incurred by your usage are billed by that provider to your account with them. We encrypt your key at rest; you are responsible for keeping the key itself out of plaintext form in environments outside this platform.

6. Billing

Hosted modes (pay-as-you-go and lifetime) are billed via Stripe. PAYG plans are capped at a monthly spend you set in Settings; we refuse new generations once the cap is reached. Lifetime plans are one-time charges that grant access for the life of the platform, subject to a soft fair-use circuit breaker against abuse.

7. Account deletion

You may delete your account at any time from Settings › Account. Deletion is permanent and cascades all user-scoped data including uploads.

8. DMCA / copyright complaints

If you believe content generated by this platform infringes your copyright (e.g., a stem you recognize as verbatim from a paid source), please send a DMCA notice with the stem text and the original source citation to the contact address listed on the project README. We will investigate and add any verifiably-infringing stem to our originality blocklist hash so it can never be regenerated.

9. No warranty

The platform is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that practice questions mirror official MCAT difficulty or that mastery posteriors predict your real exam score. You bear the responsibility of your test prep strategy.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States.
